TERMINOLOGY

Wow, there's a whole different language when it comes to couponing.  Here are just a few I've learned so far:

Q stands for coupon
MQ or MC - Manufacturers coupon

Cat or Catalina - A coupon the prints out at the register when you make a purchase.

Blinkies - Red coupon dispensers with blinking lights near the product. 

Hangtag - Tag that hangs on a product 

Peelies - Coupons stuck to packages "Save Now" - peel them off

Tearpad - Pad of forms found hanging or laying near the product

Sunday Inserts are the flyers you find in the paper:
SS - SmartSource

RP - Red Plum (sometimes called Valassis)
PG - Procter & Gamble
GM - General Mills
KG - Kellogg

Printables are coupons you find on line
IPQ or IP- Internet printable coupon
FLIP - Food Lion Internet Coupon found in the emails they send each week (Shopper's Companion)

Other abbreviations:
B1G1 or BOGO - buy one get one
B2G1 - Buy two items and get one free
$1/1 or $1/2 - Get $1 off the purchase of one item or $1 off two items 
2/$5 or 3/$10 - Get 2 items for $5 or 3 items for $10


DND - Do Not Double
ECB - Extra Care Buck (earned at CVS)

ES -  Easy Saver seen at Walgreens rebate booklet but I think that ended?
EX or X. -  expires on
FAR -  free after rebate
HBA - Health & Beauty Aides
MFR - Manufacturer
MIR - Mail in Rebate
MRP - Manufacturer's retail price
OAS - Coupon that is good on one purchase, any size

OOP - Out Of Pocket
OYNO - On your next order
POP - Proof of purchase
PP - Purchase price
PSA - Prices starting at
RR - Register Rewards at Walgreens
SCR - Single Check Rebate from Rite Aid
SMP - Specially marked packages
UPC - Universal Product Code or Barcode
WYB - When you buy
WSL - While supplies last
YMMV - Your mileage (manager) may vary.  My store let me, your may not let you.
